Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. [KJV]
We live in lawless times. There are a lot of things that discourage a person in this world. One of them is the bad language people use, let alone all the wicked deeds. It is unnecessary.
They say it takes less energy to smile than to frown. A place I can think of to begin to make a better day is by thinking on something you know God will approve. He is pleased with our serving Him in thought and deed. The verse above is very well known among mature Christians. Memorize it!
