We live in apostate times. According to II Thes. 2:1-3 the apostasy will come first, and the man of sin will be revealed (made known) before the day of Christ is at hand. Today's irreverence to God in respect to sexual cleanliness is a sign of the times. If evangelists/ministers of churches reject the moral commandments pertaining to marriage and sex, how far are they from denying Jesus Christ, the bridegroom of the church? There are many heretics. Our land is defiled. A great fall in the leadership of the USA occurred around 1913 or earlier because of antiChristian undue influence. Many "Jewish" businesses flourished while America decayed. The sin of adultery increased seemingly after the USA was thrown into WW II. Some of the victims of the pollution of our land also became proponents of it. You may notice well known names of such so called evangelists below that do not have a clean testimony. However, this list does not only include the fallen; I will try to list others that have not (as far as I know) for encouragement. This list is not solely concerning the sin of adultery; it concerns various issues and people. Some of the listings such as Nicky Cruz's testimony may give you inspiration. See the YouTube movies! |

Divorce is not adultery; please don't confuse the two issues. Fundamentally, from a synoptical viewpoint, there are
two distinct acts, the one subsequent to the other, which
constitute adultery. The first act is a sin of
"putting away" because the Scripture says the
husband "shall cleave to his wife" (Gn. 2:24);
and also, that no one should separate what God has yoked
together (Mk. 10:9)--"one flesh" (Gn. 2:24).
The second sinful act, "marry another," is
subsequent to the first. It also contradicts I Cor. 7:10,
11. Whenever a man puts away a woman, he separates a
unified entity which God has joined together. This act in
itself does not constitute adultery. However, afterward,
if he should marry, he commits adultery against her (Mk.
10:11, Lk. 16:18). Also, if a woman should put away her
husband and marry another man, she commits adultery ( Mk.
10:12). Any man who marries her that is put away from her
husband commits adultery (Lk. 16:18). See Restoration. |

I have found that in the past those who have attacked him have done so in ignorance and jealousy. You should be praying for him. Reply to: praisetohim Exposing a sin is an act for God and righteous; not something to be repented of. It may help the sinful one repent... hopefully David Wilkerson... and perhaps yourself for advocating his sin. Prayer may help also... may the Lord help you repent, amen. |

We can make new laws that uphold Godliness
and exclude no one, not even the wealthy! It would be better to sail the seas happily as a single and bring forth fruit to God rather than be loaded with money, sin with women and bear guilt. Makes me wonder... who has been more illicitly sexually well, Hal Lindsey or Liz Taylor? Take a test. Mt. 7:16"Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?" |

money from prostitutes (Dt. 23:18). Even legalized
adultery may prevent acceptable giving. Since I believe
gambling is also a corrupt form of gain, I believe gifts
